Enter as many details as possible. Leave empty fields for which you have no information.

If uncertain about the correct spelling of a County or City/Town, enter the portion of the word for which you do have correct spelling. For example, enter “Gettys” if you are uncertain if the correct spelling is Gettysburg or Gettysberg.

Summary: At the Unconditional Union County Convention, which met in Frederick on August 11 (1866), delegates were elected to represent Frederick County in the State Convention: Upton Buhrman, Dr. Thomas Sim, Samuel Keefer, Henry Baker, Dr. A. Annan, T.L. McLean, and J.W.L. Carty. Delegates were also elected to represent the county in the Congressional Convention: Capt. John R. Rouzer, Upton Buhrman, Jonathan Routzahn, T.L. McLean, Thomas A. Smith, Lewis Crawford, David Rhinehart. Alternates were also selection for both conventions.

It says the Judges of Election are allowed to refuse voters who were disloyal even if their names are currently on register lists. This is part of the Registry Law which has been upheld in court.
