Proceedings of the Unconditional Union County Convention
Summary
At the Unconditional Union County Convention, which met in Frederick on August 11 (1866), delegates were elected to represent Frederick County in the State Convention: Upton Buhrman, Dr. Thomas Sim, Samuel Keefer, Henry Baker, Dr. A. Annan, T.L. McLean, and J.W.L. Carty. Delegates were also elected to represent the county in the Congressional Convention: Capt. John R. Rouzer, Upton Buhrman, Jonathan Routzahn, T.L. McLean, Thomas A. Smith, Lewis Crawford, David Rhinehart. Alternates were also selection for both conventions.
