REGISTERED – “We are informed that Gen. Anthony Kimmel was duly registered as a voter on last Monday, by the Register of Liberty District.” Thus, it will be seen by the above, which is taken from the Maryland Union – the “Garbage Cart” – of last week, that some of the Registers are not only violating the law by registering parties who were excluded last year by are actually aggravating the offence by transacting the business pertaining to their offices on Mondays instead of the days specially set apart by the Registry law. The Register of Liberty may be a mighty good man, and may think he is doing what is right and all that kind of thing, but we think his work will receive an overhauling on election day.
