The Emancipation Question

Summary

The Examiner feels that the question of emancipation cannot be ignored or postponed; the result of secession will be the end of slavery now in the Border states. The Examiner opposes expulsion of free Negroes from MD, favors colonization, but sees emancipation as inevitable.
