An Enterprising Deserter

Summary

Jacob Fisher of Guilford Twp arrested and turned over to the Provost Marshal in Chambersburg a deserter, William Heyser, from Cole's Cavalry, Co.C, who had on him a variety of stolen goods from Hagerstown.
