Another Seizure

Summary

Company C of the 1st Regt. PA Vols., stationed in Frederick City, proceeded to Adamstown where they seized contraband goods (30 barrels of sugar and 2 boxes of clothing, paper, etc.) that were destined for the VA rebels. The sugar came from the refinery of Daughaday, Woods & Co. Of Baltimore. [Article reprinted from the Frederick Examiner]
