Summary
The ladies of Frederick City will supply refreshments for the 1st Regt. PA Vols. stationed at the State Barracks in honor of the 4th of July. Provided will be three thousand pies and tarts, barrels of milk, hams, tongues, chickens, fresh meat, vegetables and fruits. Their contributions are "a token of sympathy" for the patriotic cause of the soldiers. [Article reprinted from Frederick Examiner.]
