Summary
The Herald accuses the editor of The Mail of pulling "facts" out of his head instead of consulting reliable sources. At issue is the number of men in the 4th Congressional District of Maryland who have left the Democratic party and converted to "Radicalism." The Mail says there have been none, but The Herald says there have been at least eleven representative men in "the little rebel-ridden state of Maryland" who have left the Democratic Party.
