County Convention
Summary
Announcement of an upcoming State Convention in Baltimore to be composed of delegates from all counties who are favorable to repeal of the Registry Law. First there must be a County Convention consisting of disfranchised voters and registered voters who sympathize with them to choose the delegates to the state convention. The Citizen says there should be "complete restoration of former political rights - without the ordeal of inquisitorial test oaths..." At the convention "come with earnest minds and resolute hearts, and unite in organizing that great party of freemen now unjustly deprived of their most sacred and most valuable heritage - the ballot."
