Several Middletown citizens or former citizens have recently joined the Federal army: Benjamin F. Power, son of Joseph Power, Esq., enlisted for 3 months. Also enlisted are the following who formerly lived in the area and have joined Ohio units: James Vananda, Blakely Geisinger, John Rudy, George Castle, Fenton Rhoderick and Milton Yaste.
