Summary
In a letter, Robert P. Trippe, a politician invited to speak at the upcoming Grand Mass Ratification Meeting of Constitutional Union Party in Frederick, declines the invitation, but offers support for the cause and the Bell and Everett ticket. He says that if the Bell/Everett ticket is elected the result would be to impress the whole country with the fact that agitation is at an end, sectionalism is crushed, etc.
