Registry List of Frederick District

Summary

The Examiner says that many names of voters currently on Registry List of Frederick County are those of people not qualified to vote but that Gov. Swann's appointed Frederick District Register was willing to include names of people who should be considered disfranchised because of their Southern stance during the war. The paper urges local citizens to supply evidence of the names which should be removed when the Register re-opens his books to make corrections.
