Breckenridge Fizzle
Summary
Demonstration held in Frederick in support of Breckinridge are deemed a "fizzle" by the Examiner. Procession of about 72 vehicles, a band and slightly over 300 people including some from nearby areas and Montgomery Co. Speech by ex-Gov. Smith of Virginia against Douglas. Col. Wm. P. Maulsby, Douglas supporter, tried to speak but shouted down.
