Maryland Union editor, Bradley T. Johnson, has resigned because he has decided to support the Breckinridge/Lane ticket for President; the junior editor, Charles Cole, also resigned. The Maryland Union will support the Douglas/Johnson ticket. Douglas has no support from any newspaper in Maryland's three western counties.
