Summary
Letter to the editor written by "That fellow Tom. Clark" stating that a story that appeared about him in the Maryland Union misrepresented the event. Assault which Maryland Union ascribed to Tom. Clark was instead committed by Mr. Simmons. Writer regards editor of Maryland Union as "dog-pelter, or dirty scavenger."
