Summary
This "national anniversary" was celebrated over a 3-day period with different military groups parading through Frederick City and attending church. Rev. Dr. Zacharias delivered a sermon. Names of officers commanding some military groups included: Acting Capt. Frederick Keeler, Capt. J. T. Sinn, 1st Lieut. B. H. Schley, 1st Lieut. Walter Saunders, Capt. Hobbs.
