A Serenade
Summary
Governor Geary, Gen. Negley and Col. Wyncoop were guests of Judge Joseph Rench of Hagerstown on their way to the Antietam Dedication Ceremony. They were treated to a serenade and made speeches of thanks which were not complimentary to Johnson.
