Against the Constitution

Summary

Large meeting of those opposed to the new MD constitution was held at Cearfoss Cross Roads. Addresses given by Messrs. Armour, Matthews, Col. Reiser, Col. E. M. Mobley and Negley. Article urges large turnout at meetings to oppose constitution, saying it favors "the old aristocratic slaveholders of lower Maryland."
