Killing of Mobley
Summary
Mobley, right hand man of guerilla leader Moseby, was shot and killed near Sandy Hook by a Union soldier. Mobley was robber and murderer of young and old in Loudoun Co., VA. Mobley's body sent to Gen. Stevenson's headquarters. From letter sent from Sandy Hook on April 4, 1865.
