Robberies by Guerillas

Summary

A group of guerillas stole a number of horses belonging to Maryland farmers residing between Sharpsburg and Williamsport, but the guerillas were chased down by Union cavalry and had to release the horses as they re-crossed the river. One guerilla was drowned and three captured. [from Washington Star]
