Official information shows that over two hundred colored men have been discharged from employment in Richmond, Va. for voting the Republican ticket at the recent election. This is the work of the Conservative Democracy in Virginia. In this County the same corrupt party threatened to discharge white men if they voted the Republican ticket, and that forced a number of them along the line of the Canal to vote against their sentiments.
