The Irish…
Summary
Judge Bond spoke recently at the Court House and said the Irish "are not as deserving of regard as the negro." This was reported in The Mail which claims Bond has everything to gain by supporting the Negroes and nothing by supporting the Irish. In retort to The Mail, the Herald says that the rebels wanted Bond to say that Negroes were better than the Irish and "were disappointed that he did not."
