Summary
A posting of the results for Washington Co. election districts in the recent vote on the proposed state constitution. The majority of voters favored adoption of the constitution, but the majority was very small and the turnout of voters was low. This, the paper says, is disappointing. "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty." It is hoped that the November election will see a larger turnout of Union voters.
