Dedication of Antietam Cemetery

Summary

Discusses the plans of various political figures and others to attend the upcoming dedication of Antietam Cemetery. It is expected that the governors of New York, Connecticut and Maryland will attend with their staffs as well as the mayor of Chicago. Possibly the President will also attend. Ex-Governor Bradford will give the oration. Ex-Governor Curtin of PA is unable to attend. The turnout of people is expected to be immense and there will be a need for transportation to the site from Hagerstown and Keedysville.
