The Cemetery at Ball's Bluff

Summary

A Washington dispatch to the Boston Journal says Gov. Swann has written a patriotic letter to Col. Moore, Superintendent of the Military Cemetery at Ball's Bluff requesting that the Stars and Stripes not be flown over the cemetery as was originally planned. Gov. Swann owns the land on which the battle was fought and he says the local people don't want the flag.
