Union Meetings
Summary
The Union State Executive Committee stated there will be county mass Union meetings in support of Bell and Everett in Frederick City on September 6 and Hagerstown on September 5. The Executive Committee said Union Clubs should be organized in each county and in each election district to support the Bell/Everett ticket during the campaign. The Baltimore Patriot is said to be favoring the election of Lincoln and Hamlin, "although professing to be an advocate of Bell and Everett."
