Fourth Regiment P H B

Summary

Recruiting for the 4th Regt. of the Potomac Home Brigade under Lt. Col. G. R. Dennis has been progressing slowly, but recently a group of 27 artillery men, principally from Carroll County, has been added. The company is expected to be filled soon with recruits already enlisted. At Hagerstown there is also a full company of cavalry belonging to this regiment. The recruiting station is at Kemp Hall opposite the office of the Examiner.

FOURTH REGIMENT P. H. B. – Recruiting for the Fourth Regiment of the Potomac Home Brigade, under Lt. Col. G. R. Dennis, has been progressing slowly in this city for some time; but on Monday evening there was an accession of 27 artillery men, principally from Carroll county, as we are told, and that the company is expected to be filled in a day or two by recruits already enlisted. There is also a full company of cavalry at Hagerstown, belonging to this Regiment, and at the Recruiting station in Kemp Hall, opposite The Examiner office, _____.
