Summary
Notice: Wanted - 79 able-bodied men to form a company of cavalry as part of the First Maryland Regiment, Independent Vol. Cavalry. The pay is $13/month. All equipment, horses and clothing supplied by the government. Service is for 3 years, at the end of which they will receive a bounty land warrant and $100 in cash.
