Outerbridge Horsey, Esq.

Summary

Outerbridge Horsey, Esq. is the candidate of the Peace Party for the Senate of MD. He was heard to remark that all the bridges in Maryland from the Pennsylvania line to the Potomac should be burned to keep Northern troops off Maryland soil. While this opinion would be acceptable from an individual, it is questionable coming from someone who is a candidate for office from Frederick Co. The acts of Mr. Horsey in the legislature could potentially involve the state in "fearful agitation and embarrassment."
