Summary
3 African American women, Eliza Porter, Lavinia Hall and Catharine Hammond, were arrested by soldiers of Purnell's Legion after destroying the property of an African American family living on the farm of R. T. Holllins on the railroad. They were under the influence of liquor and were taken to the Guard House.

UPROARIOUS – Three colored women, named Eliza Porter, Lavinia Hall, and Catharine Hammond, sent to a house, occupied by a colored family on the farm of R. T. Hollins, on the Railroad, on Monday afternoon, and indulged their exuberant spirits by breaking things generally. They were under the influence of liquor and were very indiscriminate in their destructive propensities.
