Four regiments of Gen. Banks' army (46th PA, 19th and 28th NY, 5th CT) spent night of Jan 6 in Hagerstown in the Female Seminary and other public buildings, including one or two churches, then resumed march to the Potomac at Williamsport and Hancock.
