Morcus Levi, son of Clear Spring merchant Solomon Levi "was shot in his father's store on Wednesday last by a soldier belonging to Capt. Patterson' Company of Cavalry from Pittsburg." Suffered "a flesh wound upon his abdomen" and is recovering. Soldier escaped, not yet arrested.
