Union meeting in Sharpsburg "Thursday night last" addressed by Lewis P. Fiery, Esq., candidate for State Senator. Boonsboro' meeting on Friday night addressed by Lewis P. Fiery and John V. L. Findlay, Esq., candidate for House of Delegates. Saturday meeting at Jones' Cross Roads addressed by J. D. Bennett, Esq. [of Hagerstown] and Hon. Francis Gallagher of Baltimore, and raised a "Union Pole." Meeting same day at Doub's Mill on Beaver Creek addressed by Mr. Fiery; Hon. D. Weisel and Hon. F. Gallagher at Smithsburg.
