District No. 5
Summary
In the recent District No. 5 Friends of the Union meeting, held at the home of Silas Graves in Hancock, Devalt Stottlemyer was made chairman and R.E. Taney secretary. Ten delegates were appointed to meet in Hagerstown on Sept. 21 (1861). The nomination of District officers will be made on Oct. 5.
