The Theatre of War!
Summary
The Confederates appear to be ready to provoke a war in Maryland by concentrating large numbers of troops along the Maryland-Virginia border. Navigation on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal is suspended due to the presence of hostile troops. Alexander Dent had to obtain a permit to move his family to Montgomery County on the canal.
