The Union Movement

Summary

The recent convention of the Friends of the Union met recently and selected delegates to represent the county in the State Convention. Those elected were Weisel, Roman, Small, Zeigler, Lushbaugh and Benton. The supporters of the movement are opposed to the present administration and believe that the issue of slavery should be excluded from politics.
