School Exhibition
Summary
The Freedmen’s School at the Bethel Church in Hagerstown gave its Second Annual Exhibition last week. Students gave speeches, dialogues, sang and were examined in “mental arithmetic.” The teacher is J.S. Littlefield, whose salary is paid by the New England Branch of the Freedmen's’ Aid Commission.
