Antietam National Cemetery

Summary

The Governor, referring to a report from the trustees of the Antietam National Cemetery reports that $8,000 more is needed to complete work on the cemetery, and that it is expected that other states will provide contributions to allow for the removal of their dead. A special committee passed a bill to appropriate $8,000, which reached final passage and was sent to the Senate.
