Murder
Summary
A murder occurred last Friday in Indian Springs at a public house kept by Thomas Corbett. Two soldiers asked David Smith to have a drink with them, but the barkeep refused to serve Smith. Smith went upstairs and returned with a gun, shooting one of the soldiers whom he had mistaken for the barkeep. The inquest was held by Tacitus V. Haller.
