Torch Light Procession
Summary
On the eve of the election a torchlight procession was sponsored by the Union League of the district. Three to four thousand persons marched through the streets before halting in the Court House yard to hear addresses by Capt. H. Clay Naill of Frederick County, P.H. Rinehart and Mr. Chase of Pennsylvania.
