In departing for the meeting held in this city last Saturday, the Graceham delegation had their horses decorated with “rebel flags.” Upon reaching Mechanicstown, several former Union soldiers stopped the delegation and demanded that they take down the flags, threatening violence, to which the owners of the flags acceded
