Ploughing Up the Dead
Summary
Many remains of soldiers who were killed in the Battle of Monocacy are being ploughed up by those working the farms on the battlefield. Since Congress has made an appropriation to collect the remains of Union soldier for proper burial, asks that the process be expedited.
