Summary
The following former Confederate soldiers have returned to the city and taken the oath of allegiance, some of whom were arrested by the provost guard for failing to report: Dr. John F. Zacharias, Wm. H. Pope, Charles Ebert, S.T. Miles, Jno. W. Whalen, Hy. V. Crouse, Jno. Wm. Baughman, Jas. F. Oats, C.P. Oats, and Otis Johnson.
