The Draft
Summary
The draft begins today in all Congressional Districts of Maryland except the Fourth. Those sub-districts that have met their quotas include Middletown, Hauvers, Liberty, Woodsboro, Mt. Pleasant, Johnsville and Jackson. Most other districts have nearly reached their quotas. Frederick District needs about 70 more volunteers.
