Summary

Marylanders J. A. J. Cresswell, John L. Thomas and Francis Thomas spoke at the Union Mass Meeting in Hagerstown . Resolutions were adopted thanking veterans, opposing office holding by former Confederate leaders, and “opposing negro suffrage in Maryland.”
