Summary
List of MD Assembly members arrested. Also quote from Baltimore American of the substance of a reply to their query to the President of the reasons for the arrest of Mayor Brown of Baltimore. The reply says the Federal government has tangible evidence of complicity of those arrested with the rebellion and that no arrest was made on mere suspicion. The prisoners have been taken to Fort Monroe.
