The Secession Convention

Summary

Review of a recent so-called "County Convention" at which, those in attendance were told to support the North or South, not Union or Secession; the "County Convention" was not a representative body. It had attendees from several districts in Frederick County, except Woodsboro and Jackson which voted to support Union. Protests appointment of committee to State convention in Baltimore.
