Dear Sir:
Are you ready for a teacher? I can send you a colored lady, and expect you to get up a good
school of about 30 pupils. You will pay the teacher's board, and incidentals of the school. I will
be responsible for her salary. Answer at once, and give directions how the teacher should come
from Baltimore to your place.
